The petitioner’s application seeking transfer is pending consideration before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission since August 2022. Prayer has been made to consider the said application. 2. Learned counsel for the School Service Commission submits, upon instruction, that in view of suspension of the Utsashree portal, the Commission was not in a position to consider the application seeking transfer. 3. It appears that a considerable period of time has elapsed from the date when the application of the petitioner was forwarded to the Commission. There may have been a change in the circumstances in the meantime. 4. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to file a fresh application seeking transfer in accordance with law in the online mode. 5. In the event online portal is non-functional, then the petitioner may file his application in the prescribed format in the offline mode. 6. If such application is made, it shall be considered by the authority strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of the application. 7. The fate of the application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay. 8. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. 9.
