The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order of direction, quashing the impugned order/notice dated 27.12.2025, annexed as Annexure-A, issued byRespondent No. 1 to Respondent No. 3 purportedly under Section 94 read with Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, insofar as it directs the debit freeze of the Petitioner Company's Primary Escrow Bank Account bearing No. 918020014406298, maintained with Axis Bank. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:35835 WP No. 14 of 2026 b) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing Respondent No. 3 Axis Bank to forthwith lift the debit freeze imposed on the Petitioner Company's Primary Escrow Bank Account bearing No. 918020014406298, pursuant to the quashing of the impugned notice dated 27.12.2025. c) Pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and equity. 2. Freezing of the account of the petitioner is on account of Crime No.378/2025 registered by the Hulimavu Police Station, Electronic City Sub-Division, which is now pending on the file of the IX Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru, any claim for defreezing and/or lifting the lien would have to be agitated in those proceedings. 3. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the petition stands disposed. 4. The petitioner would be free to raise all contentions before the learned Magistrate.
