In Re : Susanta Kar & anr. ... Petitioners Adv. Suman Sehanabis, Adv. Salok Sah, Adv. Anwesha Chakraborty,
... for the Petitioners. Adv. Kallol Acharjee, Adv. Ujjwal Luksom, Adv. Kallol Nag, ..for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is a long standing land dispute between the parties. The second petitioner is a school teacher. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent. They may be granted anticipatory bail.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record. Injuries sustained by the victim are serious in nature. Though it is a fact that there is long standing land dispute between the parties, material available in the Case Diary prima facie suggests active involvement of the petitioners in the alleged offence. In view of the above, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM (A) 105 of 2026 is disposed of. Case Diary be returned.
