JUSTICE H.P.SANDESH ORAL ORDER Both the parties and their respective learned counsel are present before the Court and they have filed a joint compromise petition under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (‘NI Act’ for short). It is stated that the matter is settled for an amount of Rs.1,50,000/-. The revision petitioner has already deposited an amount of Rs.1,44,000/- before the Trial Court and the respondent/complainant is permitted to withdraw the said amount. The balance amount of Rs.6,000/- is paid before the Court and the respondent/complainant acknowledges the same. 2. In view of the settlement arrived between the parties, the criminal revision petition is disposed of. The revision petitioner/accused is acquitted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of NI Act.
