ORAL ORDER
Both the parties and their respective learned counsel are present before the Court and they have filed a joint compromise petition under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (‘NI Act’ for short). It is stated that the matter is settled for an amount of Rs.1,50,000/-. The revision petitioner has already deposited an amount of Rs.1,44,000/- before the Trial Court and the respondent/complainant is permitted to withdraw the said amount. The balance amount of Rs.6,000/- is paid before the Court and the respondent/complainant acknowledges the same.
2. In view of the settlement arrived between the parties, the criminal revision petition is disposed of. The revision petitioner/accused is acquitted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of NI Act. The revision petitioner

is directed to deposit Rs.5,000/- as imposed by the Trial Court within two weeks from today and produce the receipt before the Registry within three weeks from today. If the receipt is not produced before the Registry, list the matter before the Court on 05.08.2026.
