JUSTICE P SREE SUDHA ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed by the petitioner/husband requesting the Court for direction to the I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bangalore, for expeditious disposal of M.C.No.3111/2020. 2. The petitioner filed M.C.No.3111/2020 for divorce on 11.09.2020. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that, though nearly six years have elapsed, still the trial has not commenced. It is stated that the petitioner/father has the custody of the male child, while the respondent/mother has the custody of the female child. Both parties have filed IAs’ for visitation rights to the other child. Considering that the case has been pending for nearly six years and the trial has not commenced, this Court finds that it is just and reasonable to direct the Family Court to commence the trial and dispose of the matter within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:35319 WP No. 20779 of 2026 3.
