Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that certain articles are required to be seized in connection with criminal prosecution being Kotwali Police Station Case No. 1426 of 2025 dated 25th December, 2025. Prayer is made in this writ petition for issuance of mandamus directing the concerned police authorities to take steps. 3. State respondents and respondent no. 5 are represented by learned advocates. 4. Mr. Das, learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 13th July, 2026 of Inspector-in- Charge, Kotwali Police Station and the same is taken on 2 record. Copies of the said communication dated 13th July, 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing the petitioner and respondent no. 5. 5. It is disclosed in the communication dated 13th July, 2026 that on completing investigation in the aforesaid criminal prosecution charge sheet being 287 of 2026 dated 31st March, 2026 is already filed. 6. In view of filing of charge sheet no further order need be passed in this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 7. However, filing of charge sheet shall not preclude the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional magistrate, if occasion so arises. 8.
