NARASINGH Order No. ORDER 23.07.2026 03. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he has wrongly mentioned the number of the G.R. case as “212” instead of “216” in the cause title of the bail application. A corrected page of the cause title has been filed in the Office. 3. The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No.216 of 2025 pending on the file of learned J.M.F.C., Koraput, arising out of Kotpad P.S. Case No.217 of 2025 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 281/3(5)/303(2)/ 325 of the BNS, 2023 read with section 11(1) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960. p. 2 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes such prayer for pre-arrest bail. 5. Taking into account the nature of allegation and the punishment prescribed, it is directed that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, Petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and proper subject to verification of antecedents from the parent police station. If it is found that the Petitioner has any antecedent, this order shall not be given effect to. Additionally, it is directed that the Petitioner shall appear before the I.O. once in a month till submission of Final Form and certification of such appearance shall be submitted to the concerned Court in question. In the event of default, it shall be open for the Court to proceed in accordance with law without further reference to the Court. 6. It is needless to state that the Petitioner shall cooperate with the ongoing investigation. 7. The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules. (V.
