JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 12.11.2025 by the Writ Court in W.P.No.5063/2023. The writ petition came to be filed by the appellant, assailing the order dated 10.08.2022 passed by the Special II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chitradurga in Misc.No.275/2019. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:35100-DB WA No. 873 of 2026 2. The Special II Additional District and Sessions Judge in Misc.No.275/2019 against the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner determining the compensation of Rs.3,06,326/- for erecting the high voltage 220 kilowatts towards the power line corridor over the line of the respondent, enhanced the compensation by another sum of Rs.1,99,763/- along with 8% interest per annum from the date of petition till its complete payment. 3. The learned Single Judge in view of the judgment of this Court in Executive Engineer and Another Vs. Doddakka1, has held that the enhanced compensation by Rs.1,99,763/- was quantified and determined in accordance with the guidelines for payment of the compensation in such a case. 4. We find no error in the impugned judgment and order passed by the learned Single Judge. Having found 1 W.P.No.39979/2013 Dt:06.08.2014 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:35100-DB WA No. 873 of 2026 that the writ appeal without any merit, we dismiss the same. 5. The amount deposited in pursuance of the interim order, to be paid to the respondent along with accrued interest if any, on proper verification. Any short fall of the amount from the amount, as determined by the Special II Additional District and Sessions Judge, should be made good within a period of four weeks from today.
