PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order : The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’) by the Petitioner/Accused for granting interim bail in connection with Crime No. 169 of 2025 of B.Kotha Kota Police Station, Annamayya District, registered for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 109(1), 118(1) and 351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 3. The prosecution submits that the information that the father of the Petitioner died on 24.12.2025 and death ceremony i.e final rituals is performed today. Wound Certificate is not yet received. The Petitioner was arrested on 26.12.2025. He has been in judicial custody for the past 10 days. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the Petitioner with the following conditions: i. The Petitioner/Accused shall be enlarged on bail subject to his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only), with two sureties each for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Sub-Jail, Madanapalle. ii. The Petitioner/Accused shall surrender before the Superintendent of Sub-Jail, Madanapalli on 21.01.2026 without fail. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. _________________________ DR.
