The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 2 to 7 are not considering the representation dated 11.09.2025 (Ex.P1) made by the petitioner regarding the correction and updating of the Electoral rolls of Madicherla Gram Panchayat. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that, as per the Rule 6 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, the names of the electors in each part of the roll shall be arranged according to the house numbers, unless the Chief Electoral Officer, subject to any general or special instructions issued by the Election Commission, determines in respect of any part that the alphabetical order is more convenient or that the names shall be arranged partly in one way and partly in other.
4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the Electoral rolls of the petitioner and his family members were shown at different locations and in different wards, even though they are residents of the same

house or an adjacent house. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation dated 11.09.2025 (Ex.P1). However, the same was not considered.
5. Sri Vivek Chandra Sekhar, learned Standing counsel for the 2nd respondent, would submit that the A.P.State Election Commission issued a circular vide C.No.85/SEC-B2/2019 dated 04.04.2019 relating to the preparation and publication of photo electoral rolls of Gram Panchayats. 7. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is
