C.R.M. (NDPS)1011 of 2026
In Re: An application for bail under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Lalgola Police Station Case No.811 of 2025 dated 14th September, 2025 under Section 21(C)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985;
Ajibur Rahaman Versus The State of West Bengal
Mr. Arnab Chatterjee Mr. Avik Ghosh Ms. Ankusha Ghosh. …for the petitioner.
Mr. Rajendra Banerjee Mr. Utsav Dutta. …for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as another accused person, namely, Tufan Ali @ Mithu who has been granted bail in CRM(NDPS)1403 of 2026.
Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the locus of the present petitioner with that of Tufan Ali @ Mithu who has been granted bail.
In view of the petitioner similarly placed as Tufan Ali @ Mithu, the petitioner, namely, Ajibur Rahaman be released on bail on same terms and conditions by the learned special court as was imposed upon Ajibur Rahaman in CRM(NDPS)1403 of 2026.
Thus, CRM(NDPS) 1011 of 2026 is allowed.
