1. This is a Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following prayers:
“A. To issue a Writ of Mandamus / Certiorari for setting aside / quashing of the withdrawal order issued against the petitioner contained in the 19 Minutes (Volume-II) of 441st Meeting of NRC held on 21st and 22nd May, 2025 (Impugned Order dated 22.05.2025); B. To stay the operation of the impugned order dated 22.05.2025 till the disposal of the present petition.”

The learned Counsel for the Respondents submits that the present matter is covered by the judgment of the Coordinate Bench of this Court passed in the order dated 15.12.2025 in W.P.(C) 5369/2025 Teachers Training College Mirza vs. National Council For Teacher Education & Anr. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is allowed, holding that the direction passed by the Coordinate Bench in Paragraph Nos. 12 to 16 in the said judgment shall apply to the Petitioner, including the direction to permit the Petitioner to participate in the counselling session for the academic year 2025-26.
4. All the Respondents shall ensure that the Petitioner is permitted to participate in the counselling session for the academic year 2025-26.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
