This petition has been filed for initiating proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for alleged wilful disobedience of order dated 05.02.2026 (Annexure P-2) passed in CWP-3406-2026. 2. On an advance notice of the petition having been issued, Mr. Sandeep Singh, AAG, Punjab, puts in appearance on behalf of the respondent and has produced a copy of order dated 07.07.2026, stated to be passed in deference to the aforesaid order dated 05.02.2026, which is taken on record. A copy thereof stands furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that as substantial compliance of the aforesaid order has since been made, by passing speaking order dated 07.07.2026, he prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to challenge the aforesaid order, in accordance with law. 4.
