By the present writ petition, the petitioners, who are working in the department of respondents/Samagra Shiksha are seeking a direction towards the respondents authorities to regularize 3 their services on the post of Block Resource Coordinator (BRC). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been in continuous service since 17.01.1996, i.e., for nearly three decades. It is further submitted that the concerned department has already sought the approval and concurrence of the Finance Department for the regularization of the petitioners on their respective posts. However, the petitioners' claim/representations for regularization have not yet been decided by the competent authority. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State as well as respondent Nos. 4 to 6 submits that, if the petitioners' claim/representation (Annexure P-7) is still pending before the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided by passing a necessary order, in accordance with law, within a period of 50 days. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the pleadings and documents. 5. Having considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to consider and decide the petitioners' claim/representation by passing a necessary order, in accordance with law, within a period of 50 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4 6.
