District Superintendent of Education, Ranchi, at P.O & P.S Ranchi District Ranchi, Jharkhand .....Respondent(s) --- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE DEEPAK ROSHAN --- For the Petitioners : Mr.Abhijeet Kr. Singh, Advocate For the Respondents : Mr.Ranjan Kumar, AC to Sr. SC-I --- 03/ Dated: 28.09.2026 1. Heard learned counsels for the parties. 2. The instant application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for a direction upon the respondents to consider and allow the application of the petitioner for inter-district transfer from district Lohardaga to Ranchi for which she had already made an application. 3. At the outset, Ld. Counsel for the petitioner draws attention to para-26 to the counter-affidavit, wherein though in the averment it has been ( 2026:JHHC:29350 ) stated that the female teachers as mentioned by the petitioner possess a higher score than the petitioner; and the score of the petitioner is 56.990, however, the table below para-26 indicates that one Madhumita Prasad having the score 52.5240 was transferred from Lohardaga to Ranchi. Accordingly, Ld. Counsel submits that the concerned respondent be directed to revisit with the decision. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents could not dispute the fact that petitioner is having the score of 56.990 and the marks which has been indicated in para-26 of Madhumita Prasad is 52.5240. 5. Having regard to the above, interest of justice would be sufficed by remitting the case to the concerned respondent only for the purpose that the concerned respondent shall revisit with the decision for the reason that the petitioner is having more marks than one Madhumita Prasad. 6. Accordingly, the instant application stands allowed by directing the 3rd Respondent to treat this writ application as representation of the petitioner and reconsider the case having specific averment at para-26 of the counter-affidavit and pass an appropriate order within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner may serve the copy of this writ application along with the relevant documents to the concerned respondent for convenience. 7. Pending IA’s, if any also stand closed.
