The learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. 2. The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the proceedings of respondent No.3-District Task Force (Mines) dated 04.11.2024, whereby a decision was taken to cancel the quarry lease granted in Sy.No.159 of Heggotara village and Sy.No.239 of Muttige village and to proceed in accordance with law. 3. The petitioner has been granted a quarry lease over a land measuring 1-00 acre falling in Survey No.159 of Heggotara Village, Chamarajanagara Taluk and District. The District Task Force Committee had taken a decision pursuant to the communication sent by the Chairman of District Legal Services Authority [DLSA], Chamarajanagara. 4. The learned counsel for the parties stated that the communication of the DLSA as well as the proceedings of the District Task Force (Mines) are impugned by the quarry holders - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010524222025 NC: 2026:KHC:36022-DB WP No. 24153 of 2025 concerning quarry leasehold rights over lands in Sy.No.159 and in W.P.Nos.13204/2025 (GM-RES-PIL) and other connected matters1, which were disposed of by an order dated 11.08.2025. 5. This Court had directed that the grievance of the petitioners in those cases be considered by the concerned authority in accordance with the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1994 [The KMMC Rules]. 6. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the present petition be also disposed of in the same terms. 7. Thus for the reasons as set out in the order dated 11.08.2025 passed in W.P.No.13204/2025 and connected matters, the present petition is disposed of on similar terms.
