The applicant has preferred this application under Section 482 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for grant of Anticipatory Bail, apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.135/2025 registered at Police Station – Arjunda District – Balod (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Sections 106(1) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (for short BNS), 2023 and Section 135 & 38 of Electricity Act (wrongly mentioned in bail application as 35 and 38 of Electricity Act). 2. From perusal of the order of the learned trial Court dated 05.01.2026, by which the anticipatory bail application of the 2 applicant has been rejected, it transpires that the applicant is alleged to have committed offences under Sections 135 and 138 of the Electricity Act, 2003, but the same has wrongly been mentioned as Sections 35 and 38 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and, as such, in the present bail application also wrong offence i.e., Sections 35 and 38 of the Electricity Act, 2003 have been mentioned. Accordingly, this bail application is hereby disposed of by granting liberty to the applicant to file a fresh bail application with correct offence along with correct certified copy of the bail rejection order passed by the learned trial Court.
