Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of there being no disciplinary proceedings or criminal proceeding pending against him, his request for transfer has not been considered. 3. The petitioner has made several representations to the respondents and lastly to the respondent no. 3 on April 13, 2026, seeking necessary information regarding his application for transfer. 4. Though it is now an accepted proposition that the transfer is not a matter of right, the petitioner has a right to have the representation considered by the concerned authorities. 5. In view thereof, let the representation dated April 13, 2026 be considered and disposed of by the respondent no. 3 by July 31, 2026 and the result 2 thereof be communicated to the petitioner by August 5, 2026. 6. With the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There will be no order as to costs. 8.
