JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for both the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite an order being passed by the Assistant Commissioner, Hassan Sub-Division, in terms of Annexure-C dated 25.11.2024, setting aside the earlier mutation entries in M.R.No.15/2000-01 MRH No.6/2012-13, and directing the Tahsildar to enter the name of the original grantee in the revenue records after verifying the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19356 WP No. 36314 of 2025 original records, the Tahsildar has not taken any steps in that regard. Learned counsel submits that at Annexure-E is a communication made by the Tahsildar on 17.12.2024 to the Deputy Tahsildar/Revenue Inspector, Baanavara Hobli, to verify from the original records and state as to who is the original grantee so that action can be taken in terms of the orders passed by the Assistant Commissioner. The revenue inspector furnished a report as found at Annexure-G stating that one Sri.Rangappa, S/o Thimma Shetty, is the original grantee and the revenue records may be made out in the name of the original grantee. Learned counsel submits that despite all these proceedings, the Tahsildar has not taken any steps. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Arsikere Taluk, to proceed to enter the name of the original grantee in the revenue records in terms of the directions issued by the Assistant Commissioner as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
