The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mahagama P.S. Case No. 17 of 2026 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 04 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)B and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was transporting 4 Kg of Ganja illegally. It is next submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is then submitted that the Ganja comes under intermediate quantity. It is then submitted that there is no FSL report to suggest that the seized article was Ganja. It is then submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 08.02.2026 as is evident from para-17 of the instant bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para-16 of the instant bail application. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner undertakes to co-operate with the investigation of the case. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Godda in connection with Mahagama P.S. Case No. 17 of 2026 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 04 of 2026 with the condition that he will co-operate with the investigation of the case and appear before the investigating officer as and when noticed by him and and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the pendency of the case.
