HARI HARANADHA SARMA WRIT PETITION No.15165 of 2026 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the 5th respondent, alleging that, at the instance of the 5th respondent, the respondent-police are interfering with the disputes between the parties. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home takes notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4. In view of the proposed disposal of the Writ Petition, issuance of notice to un-official respondent is dispensed with. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the respondent-police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties and that no criminal case has been registered against the petitioner. It is further submitted that there is no threat, coercion, or inducement from the side of police against the petitioner. 4. In view of the written instructions placed on record and the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that the respondent-police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties, and recording the same, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the matter. 4 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________________ A.
