Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the Panchayat Secretary of respondent No.3 issued possession certificates, dated 16.02.2024, to each of the petitioners. Thereafter, the petitioners constructed sheds and have been residing therein. Respondents 2 and 3 are attempting to dispossess the petitioners without issuing any notice. As per the instructions of respondent No.2-Tahsildar, the land of an extent of Ac.48.48 cents of land in survey No.137 of Siddapuram village is recorded as ‘Gramakantam’, in the revenue records, and the revenue authorities are not interfering with the petitioners’ possession over their p. 5 SRS,J W.P.No.120 of 2026 respective properties.
