The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of the private respondents and further seeking direction to consider and decide the representations dated 30.06.2026 (Annexure P-1 and Annexure P-2). 2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate direction is issued to the respondent No. 2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, District Malerkotla and respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Mandi Ahmedgarh, District Malerkotla, to consider and decide representations dated 30.06.2026 (Annexure P-1 and Annexure P-2) moved by petitioner and take necessary action thereupon in a time bound manner. 3. Keeping in view the limited prayer made by petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, District Malerkotla and respondent No.3- Station House Officer, Mandi Ahmedgarh, District Malerkotla, to decide the aforesaid representation dated 30.06.2026 (Annexure P-1 and Annexure P-2) submitted by petitioner within a period of one month from today by passing a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law and take appropriate action, if so required. 6. However, if, respondent No.4 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation, the petitioner shall be informed as per mandate of law. 7. Petition stands disposed of. 8.
