finds no merit in the present petition. The rent proceedings and the criminal complaint are distinct and independent in nature, arising out of separate causes of action and requiring adjudication on the basis of different sets of facts and evidence. Furthermore, the rent proceedings and the complaint case have not been instituted by the same party. Mere pendency of the rent proceedings at Panchkula does not constitute a valid or sufficient ground for transfer of the criminal complaint pending before the competent Court at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali).
6. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
7. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
