Mr. Surajit Basu Mr. Mohim Sashmal Ms. Jasika Alam Mr. Suman Naskar …for the petitioner The petitioner herein is aggrieved with the order dated 15.1.2026 by which the Court below directed to pay the arrear amount of maintenance amounting to Rs.2,11,500/- by twelve equal monthly installments. Being aggrieved by the aforesaid order learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner’s monthly income is only Rs.21,000/- and therefore, it would be hardship for the petitioner to pay the arrear amount in twelve installments along with the current monthly interim maintenance amount. He, therefore, prays for making payment of the arrear amount by twenty-four equal monthly installments. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant application being CRR 2682 of 2026 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to pay the entire arrear amount of Rs.2,11,500/- by eighteen monthly installments in addition to the amount of monthly interim maintenance as ordered to be paid by the Trial Court.
