INDIRESH ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13th October, 2025 (Annexure-J). 2. Heard Sri. D.R. Ravishankar, learned Senior Counsel on behalf of Sri. Kalyan R., appearing for the petitioner and Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents. 3. Sri. D.R. Ravishankar, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, by referring to the order dated 23rd September, 2022 (Annexure-G) passed in Writ Petition No.6543 of 2022 submits that, though this Court has directed the respondent No.2-Tahsildar to collect the arrears of land revenue from the petitioner and pass appropriate orders for cancellation of forfeiture (PADA), the same has not be complied with by the respondent No.2. Accordingly, learned Senior Counsel sought for interference of this Court. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:33926 WP NO.10217 OF 2026 4. Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that, certain documents have been furnished by the petitioner, which will be looked into and take decision in the matter by the respondent No.2. 5. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, on perusal of writ papers, it is forthcoming that the petitioner has approached this Court in Writ Petition No.6543 of 2022 and the Coordinate Bench of this Court, by order dated 23rd September, 2022 (Annexure-G), at paragraph 3 observed as under: "3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of. The Tahsildar, Bengaluru East Taluk, Krishnaraja Puram, Bengaluru is directed to collect the arrears of land revenue and pass an order of cancellation of the forfeiture (PADA). The petitioner shall be permitted to pay the arrears of land revenue accordingly within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The Tahsildar shall collect the arrears of land revenue accordingly and pass necessary orders of cancellation of forfeiture (PADA), as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of arrears of land revenue at the hands of the petitioner. Ordered accordingly." - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:33926 WP NO.10217 OF 2026 6. On perusal of the aforementioned order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, it is forthcoming that the respondent No.2 was directed to collect arrears of land revenue and take decision as to cancellation of forfeiture (PADA). In pursuance of the same, the respondent No.2 has informed the petitioner to furnish documents from the petitioner as per Intimation letter dated 03rd October, 2025 (Annexure-H). Accordingly, the petitioner furnished the documents to the respondent No.2 in terms of the representation dated 13th October, 2025 (Annexure-J), however, the same was not considered by the respondent No.2. Therefore, the respondent No.2-Tahsildar is directed to comply with the order dated 23rd September, 2022 (Annexure-G) passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.6543 of 2022, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order.
