The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (Old corresponding Section is 438 Cr.P.C, 1973) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.39 dated 11.02.2026 under Sections 20, 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Sta- tion Mahesh Nagar, District Ambala. 2. This Court, vide order dated 28.04.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of their arrest, they were ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 28.04.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation. Learned State counsel states on instructions from ASI Darshan, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the condi- tions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. 6.
