The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is involved in several cases in various States and, therefore, it is impossible for him to appear before the respondent police as directed. However, this Court is not inclined to accept the petitioner’s contention, as the investigation is still in progress. If the petitioner is exempted from appearing before the respondent police, it may adversely affect the investigation and hamper the prosecution. Hence, the request for modification of the condition requiring the petitioner to sign before the respondent police is dismissed. 3. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner has already submitted his Passport at the Telangana Police Station, as stated in paragraph No.4 of the petition. However, the petitioner has not produced any records or documents to substantiate such deposit. Therefore, this Court finds no merits in the application.
