By way of present petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- “10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to compute and pay interest on all AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Digitally signed by AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Date: 2026.07.21 10:54:27 +0530 2 delayed retiral and service-related dues of the petitioner, at a rate deemed appropriate by this Hon'ble Court (preferably 18% per annum), from the respective original due dates till the date of actual payment within a stipulated time in accordance with law. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to further direct the respondents to direct the respondents to expeditiously consider and decide the pending representations submitted by the petitioner relating to interest on delayed payments of retiral dues. 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to award costs of litigation in favor of the petitioner. 10.4 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief deemed fit in the interest of justice.” 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was working on the post of Executive Engineer at Public Works Department, Government of Chhattisgarh and on 30/06/2007, the petitioner has been retired from his service. However, there is a dispute regarding the payment of retiral dues in respect of the petitioner, hence, he seeks to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to raise grievance of the petitioner before the High Power Pension Redressal Committee. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents has not opposes the submission made by learned counsel for the respondents. 3 4. In view of the above, the office of the Advocate General is directed to send the case to the Committee, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the petition from the petitioner and this order. The Committee shall consider and pass a reasoned order within a further period of 3 months, in accordance with law, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties. The petitioner and the officers concerned may file additional documents, if necessary. The entire exercise, including retiral dues of the employee and other pensionary benefits, if any, to the petitioner be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The petitioner shall supply extra copy of the petition to learned counsel appearing for the State/respondents for forwarding the same to the Committee. 6.
