Agrawal, Judge Order on Board 21.07.2026 1. Since the issues involved in the present writ petitions are of a similar nature, they are heard together and are being decided by this common order. 5 2. The present writ petitions have been filed for the following relief(s):- “10.1 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to di- rect the respondent authorities to remove the pay anomaly of the petitioner as per their own circular dated 10.09.2016. 10.2 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to di- rect the respondent authorities to pay the difference of pay to the petitioner from the date his junior has been placed in the Executive grade having higher pay along with interest till the date of retirement. 10.3 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to di- rect the respondent authorities to revise the entire reti- ral dues of the petitioner in accordance with the re- vised pay which may be ascertained after removal of pay anomaly and release the entire difference amount along with interest. 10.4 Any other relief, which the Hon’ble Court may deems fit and proper may also be awarded to the peti- tioner including the cost of the petitioner.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have submitted representations before the competent authority seeking re- moval of the pay anomaly. However, the said representations have not yet been considered and decided. He, therefore, confines his prayer to a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the repre- sentations of the petitioners within a stipulated time. 6 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents does not oppose the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioners. 5. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Coal India Limited (re- spondent No. 1), is directed to consider and decide the representations of the petitioners in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The petitioners shall be at liberty to submit an additional representation along with all relevant documents, if so ad- vised. 6.
