Present: None for the petitioner(s). Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. Surya Partap Singh, J.
1. The case has been called out repeatedly, at different intervals, since morning, but nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
2. A perusal of the record shows that this petition for quashing of FIR, on the basis of compromise, was filed in March 2026 and thereafter, when the case was listed on 20.04.2026 the petitioner was unrepresented. On that day, in the interest of justice the case was adjourned to 07.05.2026, but on 07.05.2026 a written request for adjournment was filed and the case was ordered to be listed for today.
2. Today, again, the petitioner is unrepresented. It appears that the petitioner is not interest in pursuing the present petition. Hence, the present petition is hereby dismissed for non-prosecution. (Surya Partap Singh) Judge July 08, 2026
