Accused nos.1 & 2 in Crime No.139/2026 registered by Suddaguntegalya Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 109, 85, 74, 118(1), 126(2), 351(2) read with 3(5) of BNS, 2023, are before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.139/2026 was registered by Suddaguntepalya Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioners herein based on the first information dated 20.05.2026 received from Smt. Thaseen who is the victim in the present case. During the course of investigation, petitioners were arrested on 20.05.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. Their bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl. Misc. No.5002/2026 was dismissed on 10.06.2026. Perusal of the material on record would go to show that the injured victim is the wife of petitioner no.1 and sister-in-law of petitioner no.2. The allegation against the accused persons is that they had assaulted the victim with their hands and also threatened of committing her murder. It is further alleged that the accused persons had also assaulted the injured with a knife. 5. The victim has suffered only simple injuries in the incident in question. Petitioners do not have any criminal antecedents. In respect of the alleged incident that had taken place on 19.05.2026 at about 9.15 p.m., first information is submitted on the next day at about 1.15 p.m. by the victim who had personally appeared before the police. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that petitioners' prayer for grant of regular bail is required to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order: 6. The petition is allowed. The petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.139/2026 registered by Suddaguntegalya Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 109, 85, 74, 118(1), - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:35512 CRL.P No. 8502 of 2026 126(2), 351(2) read with 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioners shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- each with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioners shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts their appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioners shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioners shall not involve in similar offences in future; Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE KK List No.: 1 Sl No.: 85
