The case is presently pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. 2. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned A.P.P. representing the State. Perused the material available on record and also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for bail. 4. Short sift of the prosecution case is that the police personnel on the basis of a sanha, got information that a coterie of accused is coming to extort levy money by a motorcycle from the brick kiln owner. On such information, the police conducted a secret operation and apprehended three accused persons, in which 2026:JHHC:9332 2 two persons fled away and the police caught the third person, who upon enquiry told his name as Salman (present petitioner). The petitioner is in custody since December, 2025. 5. From the possession of the petitioner, motorcycle without valid document and illegal arms and ammunitions had been recovered. 6. Considering the fact that the arms have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, at this stage. 7.
