Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2. Learned advocate representing petitioner submits that respondent nos. 6 and 8 are trying to encroach the property of the petitioner as a result whereof “nitya puja” being offered to goddess is hampered. 3. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps which would facilitate the petitioner to enjoy peaceful possession over the property in question and to offer “nitya puja” to goddess. 4. However, learned advocate representing respondent nos. 6 and 8 has disputed the submission made on behalf of the petitioner. 2 5. It is submitted that in connection with a partition suit decree was passed in favour of respondent no. 6 acknowledging right of respondent no. 6 over a portion of the property in question. It is also contended that these facts are not disclosed in this writ petition. 6. State respondents are represented by learned advocate. 7. Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties it appears that issue involved in this writ petition is civil in nature requiring the petitioner to approach the Civil Court in pursuit of remedy. 8. Police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see that no untoward incident takes place. 9. Writ petition stands disposed of. 10.
