Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 10 months. Charge sheet has been submitted but hardly there has been any progress of the case. Learned advocate for the State submits that the principal accused is still absconding and process has been issued. As such, there has been no progress in the case. Learned advocate for the State has taken the Court to the relevant materials including the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the BNSS. I have taken into account the same. The present petitioner is a trafficker according to the 2 accusations. Records of the case also reflect that the victim became pregnant. Having considered the role of the present petitioner in trafficking the victim, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1091 of 2026 is dismissed. Report and the Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
