This petition has been filed for grant of regular bail under Section 483 of BNSS (erstwhile Section 439 Cr.P.C) in case FIR No. 213 dated 12.07.2025 under Sections 318(4), 3(5) of BNS-2023 (Sections 420,34 of IPC, 1860) registered at Police Station Ambala City, District Ambala. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the present FIR was registered on the complaint of Deepak Goyal, who alleged that on 12.07.2025, at about 7:15 A.M., his mother, Smt. Nirmala Goyal, aged about 63 years, had gone to Gurudwara Manji Sahib. While she was returning home, she was intercepted by four unknown persons, two of whom were riding a motorcycle and the other two an Activa scooter. The said persons stopped her and represented that they wanted to examine her gold bangles, while pretending to check the gold ornaments of another person with the aid of a machine. Believing their representation and being frightened, the complainant's mother handed over her gold bangles to them. After examining the bangles, all four persons fled from the spot towards Gurudwara Manji Sahib. Upon reaching home, she narrated the entire incident to the complainant, on the basis of which the present FIR came to be registered.
