Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that in spite of lodging complaint necessary steps have not been taken by the concerned police authorities by registering FIR. 3. Prayer is made for giving direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps, in accordance with law, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. 4. State respondents and respondent nos.5 to 8 are represented by learned advocates. 5. Mr. Rajdeep Majumder, learned Additional Advocate General representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 12th July, 2026 of Inspector-in- Charge, Kalna Police Station, Purba Bardhaman. Copies of the said communication dated 12th July, [2] 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing petitioner and respondent nos.5 to 8. 6. It is disclosed in the said communication dated 12th July, 2026 that based on the complaint of the petitioner a criminal prosecution being Kalna P.S. Case No.482 of 2026 dated 10th June, 2026 was initiated under certain provisions of BNS and such criminal prosecution was culminated into filing of charge-sheet being Kalna P.S. Charge-sheet no.430 of 2026 dated 30th June, 2026. 7. In view of filing of charge-sheet, no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 8. Writ petition stands dismissed. 9. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to approach jurisdictional Magistrate, if occasion so arises. 10. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings. (SAUGATA BHATTACHARYYA, J.)
