Learned advocate representing petitioner submits that premises where petitioner is staying requires immediate repairing due to its dilapidated condition. Prayer is made in this writ petition for directing the concerned police authorities to take steps which will facilitate the petitioner to repair the premises in question and if obstruction is made by any interested parties they shall be prevented. 3. State respondents are represented by learned advocate. 4. During course of hearing nothing is shown before this Court that concerned authority of Kolkata Municipal Corporation permitted the 2 petitioner to repair the premises. Petitioner is required to approach the appropriate authority for repairing the premises. Police authority is not the authority to decide the right of the petitioner to repair the premises in question. 5. Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. 6. Writ petition stands dismissed. 7. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority/forum in pursuit of remedy. 8.
