Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had approached this Court seeking appropriate directions for consideration of the grievance relating to admission of their wards in the respective private schools. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the subsequent instruction dated 15.07.2026 issued by the competent authority providing for the third round of counselling for admission of students in private schools, the petitioner may be permitted to participate in the said counselling process by submitting the requisite application within the prescribed time. 2. Learned State counsel appearing for the respondents submits that an instruction dated 15.07.2026 has already been issued to all the District Education Officers, whereby it has been directed to conduct the third round of counselling for admission of students in private schools. It is further submitted that, pursuant to the said instruction, applications for the third counselling are required to be submitted online from 22.07.2026 to 05.08.2026 for seeking admission in the respective private schools. Learned State counsel further submits that, in view of the aforesaid instruction dated 15.07.2026 issued by the competent authority, the grievance raised by the petitioner stands redressed. It is submitted that the petitioner may submit a suitable application pursuant to the said instruction and complete the requisite online process before the concerned authorities for admission of their wards in the respective private schools. 3 3. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the material available on record. 4. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and taking note of the instruction dated 15.07.2026 issued by the competent authority for conducting the third round of counselling for admission of students in private schools, this Court finds that the grievance raised by the petitioner has been duly addressed by the respondents. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an appropriate application in terms of the instruction dated 15.07.2026 and complete the online application process before the concerned authorities within the prescribed period, i.e., from 22.07.2026 to 05.08.2026. The concerned authorities shall consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with the applicable rules, instructions and law and take an appropriate decision expeditiously. 6.
