This is an application for the release of 25% of the awarded amount in favour of the respondent/claimant No. 1 2. Vide order dated 29.08.2026 passed by this Court, the main appeal arising out of the award dated 31.01.2023, passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Reasi, was dismissed for non-prosecution. Vide the impugned award, the applicant/claimant has been awarded a sum of Rs. 20,61,755/- (Rupees Twenty Lac, Sixty One Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Five only) along with interest @ 7.5% per annum as compensation. 3. Since the main appeal stands dismissed for non-prosecution, as such, the application of respondent/claimant No. 1 is allowed. Accordingly, 25% of the deposited amount is directed to be released in favour of the claimant. The amount shall be transferred to the bank account of respondent/claimant No. 1, the particulars whereof shall be furnished by the said respondent before the Registry. 4.
