Rakib (Allowed) CRM (NDPS) 921 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Lalgola Police Station case no. 722 of 2025 dated 14.08.2025 under Sections 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner referred to the earlier direction passed by this Court in CRM (NDPS) 669 of 2026 wherein the petitioner has been granted bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contention that the petitioner is not similarly situated as the accused person who has been granted bail. Accordingly, the petitioner namely, Minarul Islam @ Kalu be released on bail on same terms and conditions by the learned Special Court as was imposed upon Sohidul Hoque @ Parvej in CRM (NDPS) 669 of 2026. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 921 of 2026 is allowed. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
