Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. 2. By the present writ petition the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to act on the representation of the petitioner dated 4th November, 2025. 3. The petitioner contends that he joined as an Assistant Teacher in Hanta F.P School under Circle-Bishnupur- 4 as an OBC-B category candidate on 25th February, 2014. The service of the petitioner has been confirmed after continuous service of two years. Subsequently on an application of the petitioner he was transferred to Chakjagaddal F.P School under Circle-Sonarpur West on 7th April, 2022. While discharging his functions in the said school the petitioner has been deputed to discharge his functions as Assistant Teacher in Harinavi A S F.P School on temporary basis. The Pupil-Teacher Ratio (in short PTR) of Chakjagaddal F.P School is surplus, whereas the PTR in the present school where the petitioner is deputed is deficit. The petitioner intends to continue as a permanent teacher in the present school namely Harinavi A S F.P School. On 4th November, 2025 the petitioner made a representation seeking for permanent posting as Assistant Teacher in Harinavi A S F.P School before the concerned authority. However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence this writ petition. 4. Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority for taking a decision with regard to the representation of the petitioner dated 4th November, 2025 upon considering PTR of both the schools, namely, Chakjagaddal F.P School as well as Harinavi A S F.P School. 5. Mr. Gourav Das, learned advocate representing DPSC, South 24-Parganas submits that the respondent no.3 is the appropriate authority to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 4th November, 2025. 6. It is informed by Mr. Das, learned advocate for the council that respondent no.3, District Inspector of Schools (PE) is presently discharging the functions 2 of the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas. 7. In view of the submissions advanced by learned advocates for respective parties, respondent no.3, District Inspector of Schools (PE) is directed to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 4th November, 2025 taking into consideration the Pupil Teacher Ratio and relevant notifications of the Government issued in such regard and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law upon notice to the petitioner including all concerned within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. 8. The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week from the date of passing of such reasoned order. 9. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondent no.3, District Inspector of Schools (PE) for necessary action. 10. With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 1005 of 2026 stands disposed of. 11. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 12. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 13. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 14. There shall be no order as to costs. 3 15. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 16.
