Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the condition with regard to passing of type test mentioned in Clause-III of the promotion order dated 31.10.2005, Annexure P-3, that was imposed by the Superintending Engineer was withdrawn/deleted by the same authority vide order dated 11.09.2025, Annexure P-7, however, still he has been granted only notional benefits and is causing grave financial loss to her, she having now retired on 30.06.2025. He thus, prays that her case be considered in light thereof, in a time bound manner. 2. Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 3. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner, within a period of 6 months, uninfluenced by the order impugned, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
