03. It has taken the petitioner not months but years to first let go and then come up with present contempt petition instituted on 03.08.2026 as if there was a suspension of life and law in the intervening period for the petitioner to come to revival of her senses and seek proceedings in contempt against the present incumbents who in the year 2017 in no manner were there to carry out the compliance of the directions of this Court.
04. If left to the petitioner, this Court is meant to punish Mr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, the present Director School Education, Jammu for the default on the part of his successor-in-office in the month of May, June and July, 2017.
05. The contempt jurisdiction is not meant for fun sake just for the fancy of the petitioner, as such, this contempt petition is held to be not maintainable for which the petitioner seeks withdrawal, which is allowed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to peruse any remedy in law for the cause of action for which the petitioner had come forward with the present writ petition at first instance.
06. Dismissed as withdrawn.
