JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 23.06.2021 in R.A.No.62/2019-20 (Annexure- E) passed by respondent No.2. 2. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the khata in favour of the petitioner has been made in terms of the registered sale deed dated 16.08.1977 and thereafter, it has been interfered with the respondent authorities. 3. Taking into consideration the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Jagadish vs. The State of Karnataka and other in WA.No.579/2012, I am of the view that respondent No.2 ought not to have interfered with the khata made in favour of the petitioner, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34414 WP No. 13147 of 2021 which is based on the registered sale deed dated 16.08.1977. 5. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i) The writ petition is allowed. ii) The order dated 23.06.2021 passed by respondent No.2 (Annexure-E) is accordingly set aside. iii) Writ of mandamus is issued to respondent No.3 to mutate the name of the petitioner in the khata and RTC based on the registered sale deed dated 29.07.1977 (Annexure-B).
