Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the applicant- petitioner is taken on record. 2. Mr. Dibyendu Chatterjee, learned Advocate for the applicant-petitioner submits that the copy contempt application was sent to the alleged contemnor, which has been refused. The application for restoration upon condonation of delay was also delivered to the alleged contemnor. Once again copy of contempt application is sent to the alleged contemnor upon restoration and has been delivered to her. The alleged contemnor has failed to comply with the order passed by this Hon’ble Court. He seeks for issuance of rule of contempt. 3. It is found from the affidavit of service dated 22nd August, 2025 that the consignment has been refused by the alleged contemnor. The application 2 for restoration upon condonation of delay was also served upon the alleged contemnor but she failed to appear. Hence, it is found that the alleged contemnor has the knowledge of the proceedings. 4. Considering the entire circumstances, let rule of contempt be issued against the alleged contemnor. 5. Rule is made returnable on 16th April, 2026 at 2 p.m. 6. It is needless to say, that the pendency of this Rule shall not preclude the alleged contemnor- respondent to comply with the order dated 5th March, 2025.
