It is noticed that the application was made only on June 19, 2026 and the writ petition has been filed on July 8, 2026 without even waiting for the period of one month within which, the electricity authorities have been mandated to supply electricity in terms of Section 43 of the Electricity Act, 2003. In such view of the matter, no mandatory direction can be passed on the present application. WPA/351/2026 is disposed of by requesting the Assistant Engineer, Sub Division-II, Electricity Department, Sri Vijaya Puram to dispose of the petitioner’s application as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
