The petitioner has filed the instant petition for following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No. 5 to comply with the letter dated 12.11.2025 issued by the respondent No. 2 and carry out re-inquiry. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to take necessary actions on the several complaints/representations made by the petitioner. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to respondent authorities to stop the illegal crusher which is being operated by the M/s Dolomite Mining Corporation (DMC) adjacent to the land of the petitioner. 10.4 That any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the Mining Department regarding the alleged illegal operations of M/s Dolomite Mining Corporation (DMC), Sakti Road, Baradwar. Pursuant thereto, the Director, Department of Mining, Chhattisgarh, vide memo dated 11.11.2025, directed the concerned Collector to enquire into the allegations, conduct a re-inspection of the site, and submit a report. It is submitted that although the said direction was acted upon by an order dated 12.11.2025, no report has been submitted and no further action has been taken till date. Aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities, the petitioner has preferred the present petition seeking appropriate directions for consideration of the complaint and compliance with the aforesaid memo. 3. Learned State counsel submits that he has no objection to the limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner. 3 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the allegations, is of the considered view that the ends of justice would be served by directing the concerned Collector/respondent No. 2 to act upon the memo dated 11.11.2025 issued by the Director, Department of Mining, Chhattisgarh, and conclude the enquiry by conducting the requisite re-inspection, if not already undertaken, and thereafter pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
