[AKB] Item No.6 The petitioner is aggrieved by the rejection of the petitioner’s application for electricity supply at his residential premises. Mr. Mishra, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent electricity authorities submits that the petitioner’s application has been rejected on the ground of non furnishing of proof of occupancy of the premises as per JERC Regulations,
2018. Having heard the learned Advocates appearing for the respective parties and having considered the material on record, this writ application is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application along with all relevant documents including appropriate proof of occupancy before the electricity authorities. If such application is made, the respondent electricity authorities shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a month from the date of making of such application. WPA/335/2026 stands disposed of. No costs.
