Suresh Reddy) The present Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus to produce the petitioner’s wife, i.e., Mude Sailaja and her minor child who are allegedly detained by respondent Nos.6 to 8. 2. Heard Sri Shaik Mohammed Althaf Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P. Kranthi Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.6 to 8 and Sri Krishna Praneeth, learned Assistant Government Pleader, appearing from the office of learned Advocate General. 3. This Court, by order dated 22.04.2026, directed respondent No.5- Station House Officer, Puttur Police Station, to produce the corpus by name Mude Sailaja and her minor son before this Court on 06.05.2026; as respondent No.5 did not produce the corpus, this Court adjourned the matter to 16.06.2026. This Court also directed respondent No.3- Superintendent of Police, Tirupati District, to take appropriate disciplinary action against respondent No.5. 4. As the corpus, Mude Sailaja and her minor son were traced and they were produced before this Court today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader sought Lunch Motion. 5. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner is also present. The corpus, Smt. Mude Sailaja along with her minor son were present before this Court and when we examined her, she disclosed in the Open Court that she is voluntarily living separately on her own. She also expressed that she does not want to go along with the petitioner, who is her husband. 6. In view of the same, the present Writ Petition is closed, setting at liberty the corpus, Smt. Mude Sailaja along with her minor son. It is open to both the parties, to work out their remedies before the appropriate Court, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
